The Percheron

 

 

   The Percheron is one of the worlds most well known draft horses. Originating in the
Perche region of France these gentle giants can easily reach 20 hands in height.
They are usually black or grey, however other colors are not unusual. The Percheron's
average lifespan is from 27 to 39 years.
